I love your post, except this bit - a view shared by a few other posters and one that I've never quite understood.
Female avatars can show their arms/shoulders, a little bit of midriff and their calves.
That's it. In fact even an attempt to show off legs was stiffled with the decision re: Rocket dress.
So I don't think there's really anything at all we can wear that's overtly or overly revealing, in fact it's much harder to pull off a sexy-style or revealing avatar than it is a casual or 'non-sexualised' one (for which there are a ton of clothing options, contrary to some posters comments), and I really don't get it when people say that.

I like to role play when I play this game, and the personae of this toon is a woman who's hot and she knows it and isn't afraid to flaunt the physical gifts that her creator gave her.
I prefer to keep it a little classy myself, or at least cute. But you go gurl.
